It all started with little Thomas, who would much rather be outside with the cows than helping his mother in the kitchen. His mother would have loved to teach the little boy how to cook and made do with a children's cookbook, which she gave him. Thomas' enthusiasm was only able to spark the last and most difficult recipe

Since then, little Thomas has been working on the recipe that today conjures up golden moments of happiness from cream and forms the basis of our fine cream caramel.

Since 2020, the Caramel Puur brand has emerged from this. The small family manufactory delights caramel lovers with heavenly caramel variations from the beautiful Appenzellerland.
